Alan Ohara is a designer deeply rooted in Hilo, Hawaii. Educated in both the dynamic Bay Area and the University of Hawaii Hilo, he has cultivated a diverse expertise in visual design, branding, and illustration. Beyond the professional realm, he's an avid surfer, drawing inspiration from the ocean's rhythm, and is a devoted student of Buddhist philosophies. As a Libra, fairness, diplomacy, and harmony guide his design philosophy. This balanced approach, combined with his natural curiosity, pushes him to explore various perspectives and innovative design solutions. Nature's intricacies, especially plant life, deeply influence his work, and his passion for fine art printmaking offers a platform to merge traditional and novel processes. Andrew Richard Hara is a seasoned Visual Media Specialist, drawing upon his profound expertise in photography and videography to paint vivid narratives of Hawaiian culture, science, and environmental conservation. His artistic lens captures the rich tapestry of Earth's diversity, grounding each visual story in the essence of place and community.
Andrew's extensive portfolio encompasses content creation and marketing strategies tailored for various entities, from small businesses and non-profits to corporate behemoths. All these, underpinned by a steadfast commitment to fostering sustainable business models in Hawaii. More than just a media professional, he is an advocate for his community. Joey Trisolini is a distinguished cinematographer with roots deeply embedded in the Hawaiian landscape. Born and bred in the picturesque town of Kaʻaʻawa on Oahu, Joey's journey has taken him from the embrace of the Koʻolau mountains to the dynamic pulse of New York City. After completing his studies at UNM, he sharpened his craft at the esteemed Milk Studios. This immersion into the world of elite photography allowed him to assist global luminaries in the fashion and advertising realm, shaping campaigns for iconic brands like Dior, Calvin Klein, and Prada.
But it was cinema that truly captured Joey's heart, evolving his skills as a camera operator and cinematographer. His return to Hawai’i didn't just signify a homecoming; it marked a fusion of his vast international experience with a genuine local touch. Today, Joey's work is a harmonious blend of authentic Hawaiian spirit and contemporary aesthetics, making him a sought-after Red camera operator, especially renowned for his prowess in water videography.
